Join over 1,000 residents at the 2025 Diversity Festival in Elstree and Borehamwood! Celebrate our diverse community with global performances, local business stalls, and youth-led initiatives, all in a welcoming environment.
Welcome to the Diversity Festival, a yearly event that has been a beacon of unity and inclusivity in Elstree and Borehamwood since 2018. Under the esteemed mayorship of Mr. Victor Eni, the first African mayor of our town, we’ve been able to create a platform that celebrates diversity and fosters growth within our community.
We are a vibrant mix of English, French, and Nigerian residents of Hertsmere, united by a common goal – to influence and promote diversity in our community. Our festival is more than just a celebration of different cultures and traditions; it’s a movement that aims to create a more inclusive and understanding society.
Mayor Victor Eni started the festival to unite different communities in Elstree & Borehamwood. It built a strong base for togetherness through fun cultural events.
Every year, more people joined and the events got bigger. It grew from basic Black History Month activities to include global artists, local makers, and programs to guide young people.
We had the biggest crowd ever and highlighted the Indian community during Diwali. This included sari fashion shows and hands-on cultural classes, making the festival a true symbol of welcoming everyone.
